What you'll need
- 12 sausages
- 50ml Crisp ‘n Dry cooking oil
- 4 onions, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 400ml beef stock (you can use a beef stock cube for this if you like)
How to do it
Gently fry the onions in the Crisp ‘n Dry cooking oil for 20 minutes.
Add the sugar and flour and cook for 3 minutes.
Gradually stir in the stock and bring to the boil.
Meanwhile, fry the sausages in some Crisp ‘n Dry cooking oil for 15 minutes until browned.
Serve the sausages with plenty of gravy.
Serve with mash or Bubble and Squeak Cakes.
Red onions can be used in the gravy for a change.
