What you'll need
- 1l Crisp ‘n Dry cooking oil
- 4 large courgettes, sliced into dipping sticks
- 100ml milk
- 100g flour
- 5g salt
- 5g ground black pepper
How to do it
Add the salt and pepper to the flour.
Coat the courgettes in milk then flour.
Deep fry in the Crisp ‘n Dry cooking oil for 2-3 minutes. (Test the oil is ready to deep fry by adding a little crumb of bread when hot to see if it crisps and browns instantly).
Drain and serve.
These fritters are a perfect party nibble with chilli sauce as a dip.
Make in advance and warm through in the oven.
